The mill plain store is a zoo on Tuesday 10% off for senior citizens. The clerks are overworked better get there at 7 am to get what you want or it will be a zoo, and use your bounty quickly most items are organic and they spoil quickly, the bakery used to have nicer clerks but they went thru those employees, ok if you are desperate for veggies and fruits you are going to use in 1 days!
I shop the Mill Plain store, and they often have unadvertised specials. Last week they had bananas for .25 lb!
Went last night to the Salmon Creek store. Good deal on local sweet onions for .50 lb. Bought tomatoes and onions for marinara sauce. I was skeptical about the apples that were .44 lb. when looking them over, yes, they were in huge bins that bruise the apples, but I was able to easily find nice ones to buy that are easily more than twice the price at other stores.
