Has anybody found last Friday’s freebie, the Power bar wafer? I’ve tried twice and struck out (organic nutrition bar section which is where the regular Power bars are).
Activate the 20% reward on loose corn deal at savingstar.com and the sale corn will be $.24 an ear after the reward. The deal is good till Monday at FM, QFC and Albertson’s if your card is registered and you activate it before shopping. The $.24 net price at FM is good only till Saturday, unless the sale price continues.
Also, if anyone needs good coconut oil, Nature’s Way organic coconut oil is 50% off through Saturday, and on Saturday there should be an extra Natural Foods discount for friends and family (probably another 10%).
Yep — http://www.frugallivingnw.com/fred-meyer-friends-family-pass-deals/
The Purex is a good deal this week. 75 ounce bottles are on sale for $2.74, minus the $1 coupon from last Sunday’s red plum. $1.74 for 75 ounces is like $1.16 for the 50 ounce bottles from Rite Aid. Not too shabby!
Has anyone found the plum organics? I haven’t seen them at Bvtn or Cornelius Pass. Thanks.
Did you check the natural foods section?
Yep, checked that section.
Fred Meyer Friends and Family sale is August 9-15
What is the discount for Seniors at Fred Meyer?
10% off nearly everything except most food items. Only store brand (private label) foods are included in the discount. Can combine with other store cpns, sales, discounts. Just tell the cashier. Walgreens also has Sr Day Tuesday–20% off regular price items.
Products in the health food section are included, too. I think the grind-it-yourself peanut butter is on sale for $1.99 a pound, less the .20 discount. One has to ask for the discounts, because, due to PCism, they aren’t allowed to ask if one qualifies. Be sure to check that the cashier scans 2 different bar codes to get all the discounts. And, check the receipt before leaving the store to be sure the discounts were figured correctly.
Tuesday is Senior Day! Who says it doesn’t pay to get older?
In some ways, it does pay. I usually post on the flnw FB page when FM and Walgreens have Senior Day, which is the first Tuesday of the month for age 55+ (or AARP cardholder for Walgreens). Walgreens changed theirs to 20% off reg prices, which is nothing terrific. Liked it better when it was 15-20% off everything. FM Senior Day doesn’t include food, other than store brands. I think most of the readers of this blog are well under 55, though.
Have you heard rumors yet when the friends and family sale will be? I asked an employee today and was told they weren’t allowed to tell me.
Obviously you’re neither friend nor family. Maybe our ace correspondent Kate can find out.
They keep that info on lock down. I’ll try to ask a few employees myself and see what I can muster up. We used to have a FM employee on here that gave us the inside scoop but she hasn’t commented for a while. Will report back with my findings.
She probably was sent to state prison for blabbing about upcoming sales.
Since Kroger is nationwide, its probably a federal offense.
