Hefty slider bags were not on sale at my store.

I found Simply Potatoes on sale for 2 for $3. With the .75/1 m/c in coupons.com, that makes .75 a bag. Good buy for these.

A couple of deals that I don’t think were in the ad: Fred Meyer peanut butter is 3/$5, and Horizon mac and cheese is $1 again. There is a 55 cent load to card coupon for the mac and cheese, and 55 cent printables too.
Kate from Frugal Living NW says
Oh nice! When Fred Meyer put their peanut butter on sale for $1.37 during an anniversary or founder’s day sale I bought 15. I became hooked and LOVE their stir and refrigerate kind. Best tasting in my opinion! Thanks for the heads up on all the deals.

Free Brut deodorant at FM and QFC using $1/1 that came out a few weeks back in Sunday paper insert. Sorry I do not have the date info.
Howard says
Not 100% certain, but I think Brut wised up and excluded the small sizes from the $1 off cpns.
Howard says
Nice little haul today. 2 whole FF chickies; 6 Powerades; dozen eggs; 2 bananas; 2 1-lb cottage cheeses; 1 Hershey bar; head lettuce; 1.78 lbs cherries; 2 lbs blueberries. Total $20.31 after in-ad cpns, $2 off $10 produce cpn, and $5 off $25 cpn that I think came with last quarter’s reward card. Plus I get $.85 back from savingstar for the candy bar and about $.67 back from my credit card rewards. Could have done a bit better had I brought my $2 off $10 meat cpn and bought another couple dollars worth of eggs and bananas.
Howard says
If you get the frequent FM mailers as I do, this is a good week to use the $2 off on $10 produce and meat cpns. I seem to get these every 3-4 weeks. Savingstar.com has 20% off on loose bananas till Monday. Might need a few to hit the $10 benchmark after I score my blueberries and cherries.

Fresh Foster Farms Chicken Thighs, Split Breasts or Whole Fryer on sale $.99/lb
At least in Bremerton Washington, this turned out to be “griller packs” containing 3 leg quarters and 2 split breasts. I was hoping for packages of split chicken breasts only.
Ashley says
Their ad is very misleading and this happened to my dad this morning as well. Their ad doesn’t even say anything about griller packs.
superjaz says
Yeah I feel like I was given the run around today at freddys.
I didn’t have the ad handy and asked a butcher about the chicken on sale, he said it was the griller packs and the whole chickens. I go to the front of the store grab an ad and see it does say split breasts and go back and ask again.
He said it was a miss print but they would accommodate me and gave me one pack of split breasts at the listed sale price. Asked at another store and they said they were sold out, in a way that made me wonder, but got a rain check so, will see if they honor it.
Howard says
Tigard store had a disclaimer posted on the meat case today. The chik breasts, which I and everyone else wanted, were not included.
Ashley S says
The split breasts were included at the Hawthorne store, fyi, so I should think it would be the case everywhere if they have them. Ours were almost sold out.
Howard says
They were something like $2.49 at Tigard Sunday.
gloria says
Thank you early bird! Good buys to look forward to.
