I hate it when I have to buy 10 of an item for savings. I never need 10 of anything.

This is the way retail has been going. RA, Walgreens and Safeway all require purchase of multiples in order to get sale prices on many items. FM is now in that mode. They’ve pretty much ditched the in-ad coupons in favor of digital ones. And now they have a weekly deal on one item that’s good only on Saturdays. I bought 8 cans of Progresso and 2 other items Sunday. Used a $1/4 e-coupon and two $.50/2 paper cpns on the soup, making them 74 cts each. You can’t ever have too much soup.
The Hefty cpn in 8-20 RP expires on 10-31.
The Progresso soup cpn is $.50/2, not $1, at least in my Oregonian.
FM may not allow combination of an e-coupon (Keebler) with a paper cpn. Also, they generally don’t allow use of a paper cpn if it exceeds the price of the item even by a penny, and usually won’t do a price adjustment on the cpn. YMMV.
The Kleenex cpn in my 10-8 SS is $.75/3, not $1/4.
