The HOT Lodge Dutch Oven sale is back at Fred Meyer. Good today and tomorrow (12/2-12/3)  I found one on Amazon but Barbara let me know on Facebook that you can get it for $34.99 at Fred Meyer using the $10 off savings pass.  Here’s how to do the deal:

Lodge 6 qt. Enamel Cast Iron Dutch Oven on sale $49.99 (add a small item to get your total to $50)
Use 10% off Bonus Coupon
Use $10 off $50 purchase coupon
$34.99 after coupons

See the rest of this week’s Fred Meyer deals here. And don’t forget about the Cart Buster Savings event.

Thanks, Barbara!

Starting 12/4 these will be on sale for 39.99 and then use the HOME bonus coupon at 10% off making them 35.99. Not sure how long the 10% HOME bonus coupon is but no hassle and a great price on a quality item.

The Salmon Creek Fred Meyer in Vancouver would not let me do this!! I did as you recommended, the Dutch Oven plus one other small item to bring my total over $50.
They insisted I was 1 penny off and would not let me use the $10 coupon. The checker even
called someone to make sure he was right and was told he was so I walked out the store with nothing. Bummer.

Just thought I would share my experience I just had with the $10 off Instant Savings Pass. We were just shopping at Fred Meyer. We purchased about $14 of items from the toy department (for a birthday party tomorrow), and then another $40ish in the food department. When I got to the check out, I handed the cashier the Fred Meyer 2 day sale flyer which has the 10% off bonus coupon for Home/Toys etc. She also, without me prompting, scanned the $10 off $50 instant savings coupon, and voila, $10 came off my bill, even though only $14 of my total $50+ was a home/toy purchase. I was pleasantly surprised!

You can find the 10% coupon on the same link as the $10 coupon.

Ahh thank you, I hadn’t clicked on that link because I assumed it was only the one coupon. I’ll make sure to look next time. I got the pot!! I’m so excited!! Thank you for the heads up on this. I also bought some on-sale Christmas present and then saved on top of that! Instead of $155 I spent $115, I think that’s pretty good! Thank you again!!

This is definitely a YMV deal. The cashiers are specifically informed to scan the savings certificate last, and 50$ – 10% is only 45$, not enough to trigger the certificate. However in the past anything, even grocery items secretly worked towards the certificate, so if you are running low on milk or something a gallon or two should set you over the $50, with things you would use anyway.
