Fred Meyer is offering a HOT moneymaking deal this week on Neutrogena bar soap. You’re going to combine a manufacturer’s coupon found on the Target website. It is a manufacturer’s coupon and can be used at any store. To make this a moneymaker you will get a catalina coupon that spits out AFTER your transaction that can be used on any items in a second transaction. Here’s how the deal breaks down:
Buy 4 Neutrogena Bar Soaps on sale $2.09
Use (2) $3/2 coupon (found on Target.com)
Pay $2.36, get $5 catalina
FREE + $2.64 moneymaker after coupon & cat when you buy 4

Worked for me in OC just now
Did it today at Tigard, no problem. Didn’t see any orange cpns, but if I did I would not have tried to use them with the printables.
I did this deal yesterday & returned this morning to see if they had restocked. Not only did they restock, they RAISED THE PRICE at my FM to $2.89. After tax (I’m in WA), it’s only a $.08 moneymaker…not worth the effort. 🙁 At least I got enough Catalina’s yesterday to buy a $70 retail coat for my son (for next winter) for less than $5 out of pocket after paying for the bar soap and the coat being on clearance plus an additional 70% off!
I also missed the orange coupon excluding bars? I thought it said any Neutrogena product? I used 1 $3/2 and the $1.50/1 orange coupon and bought 3 bars. All scanned just fine (my Catalina printed fine too) at the register, and my cashier was even being extra picky with my coupons, so I’m surprise it scanned and he missed it.
When does the Catalina offer expire? Is any other store participating? The Johnson Creek store, here in PDX, doesn’t have the single bars. They are in the middle of remodeling, so maybe that’s why.
I just made it Thank you so much~
the cashier at my fm. would not take it either. even though it does not say only at target… : / but then the cashier told me they DO take the target catalina coupons— ???
I went today and not only was able to use the $3/2, but also the manufacture coupon(orange freddy kind) for $1.50/1 hanging on the shelf. So i bought 3 @ $2.09ea used the 2 coupons. Paid $1.77 and got the $5 off next purchase. $3.23 Money maker on 3.
you know the orange coupon excludes the bars right?
I missed that 🙁 Even asked the casheir if it was ok to use, he missed it also. I will have to read more carefully from now on. Lesson learned.
I did the same as Carey – twice…and the cashier didn’t catch it. The coupons did also say “limit one coupon per purchase and one coupon per customer.” Cashier didn’t see that either. I guess if something is too good to be true, it usually is! I was planning on going to another FM later today but now I won’t. 🙁
you can use a orange fred meyer MC with a printed MC?
Actually I don’t think that is correct-as the orange ones are manu coupons also.
Yes most orange ones are manufacture. I had internet printed for $3/2 and orange was $1.50/1. I purchased 3 items in transaction and since they were different manufacture coupons and i had three items they were accepted I guess? I just did not read the orange one to see the exclusions.
I was wondering the same things, because the oranges are nearly always mfr cpns. I got dinged once trying to combine the two and haven’t tried/won’t try again.
I just tried to use the coupon at Freddy’s and the cashier refused to take it.
It is on the first page of the coupons after you click the link. It does not have the bar soap pic on it. It shows two bottles of Neutrogena products.
Didn’t find the coupon. Is it gone?
If I am not mistaken, I just printed off the coupon and in the fine print, it states only one coupon per customer. However, with this deal, it is still a moneymaker if you were to buy 3 bars, use the coupon, then get the catalina. Thanks for posting this 🙂 🙂
Found it. I was looking for a picture of the bar soap.
