FREE 30-day trial of Amazon Prime
Amazon announced that they are increasing the cost of Amazon Prime from $79 per year to $99 on Wednesday (3/20). If you haven’t joined Amazon Prime, but have been waiting to do so, NOW is the time. Through tomorrow (3/19), you can get a FREE 30-day trial of Amazon Prime and then lock in the $79 price for the first year of membership.
The FREE 30-day trial of Amazon Prime gets you the following perks:
- FREE Two-Day Shipping on millions of items
- No minimum order size
- Unlimited instant streaming of thousands of movies and TV shows with Prime Instant Videos
- A Kindle book to borrow for free each month from the Kindle Owners’ Lending Library
You will be asked to enter your debit/credit card info and your card will be charged at the end of your trial period ($79 per year). If you do not wish to upgrade, go to ‘Your Account’ and select ‘Do not upgrade’ anytime during your free trial (you should be able to do this right after you sign up for the free trial and still enjoy the benefits for the full month).
If you elect to continue with your Amazon Prime membership, you will be eligible for all Amazon Mom benefits, which includes 20% off most baby items (diapers, wipes, etc) with FREE two-day shipping.

If you have Prime you can still lock in the rate for when your subscription expires by buying the “Gift of Prime” for yourself to start the day after your current subscription expires. So if your current Prime subscription expires October 5th. Buy now a “gift of Prime” before 3/20 for $79 that will start the subscription year on October 6th. Same email works.
