Summer feels like a million years away, but if you have kids, you know that weirdly you have to start signing these children up for camps and clinics and lessons NOW before they fill up. This always gets me thinking about other things to fill those days that feel like we’re sitting on the surface of the sun. Or the days that we all feel like we’re cooped up and at each other’s throats.
And naturally, while we literally ARE ALL COOPED UP right now, bowling with our kids may seem like a dream that will never come true. I’m still signing up for this program to keep some sort of eternal hope alive in my soul that eventually this all will end.
Let’s go bowling! So my kid can throw his shoes at me when he loses! Playing games with your kids is fun!
You know I’m kind of kidding. Although if you have a kid who is uber-competitive, you’re nodding along with me right now.
If your kid is going to throw shoes at you, you might as well not have to pay for this joy and delight.
Looking for activities you can do at home right now? Check out this great list of 16 self-directed activities for kids!
Sign up for the Kids Bowl Free 2020 program and get 2 free games per kid PER DAY for the entire summer!
Click here to view the participating bowling alleys in your area. Choose the local alley closest to you or the one you’ll visit the most and sign up directly with them. There are participating alleys all over the United States!
Registering is quick and easy. You can add up to 6 kids to your account (each kid will receive 2 free games).
After you register your children, you will also have the option of purchasing a family bowling pass for $36.95, giving each adult and older teenager in your home 2 free games a day also. A great deal if your family likes to bowl. You can add up to four adults to the pass, including grandparents or even a caregiver or nanny.
If you don’t want to purchase the bowling pass, there is a small “No, thanks” option at the bottom of the page.
NOTE: If you are interested in buying the family pass, try clicking “No, thanks” first and you may be given a discount code to buy at a lower price!
The Kids Bowl Free program will be starting up at different times depending on which location you choose. Some start as early as April, while others start in May (although of course this will probably look different based on country-wide closures due to the virus). Most look like they go through end of August/early September, so lots of time to use your coupons even if the program doesn’t start right away.
Once free bowling starts for your area, you’ll start receiving the free bowling passes each week in your email. You can also receive text alerts that your bowling coupons are available for the week.
