Amazon has the Proctor -Silex 1 Liter Electric Kettle for $8.99 right now. This thing is totally awesome — I’ve used it before and it honestly heats up water faster than the microwave. Perfect for heating water for tea, hot chocolate, instant coffee, french press coffee with the amazing AeroPress Espresso Maker, instant oatmeal, and more! It also turns off once it hits boiling, so you can’t bust the thing when you forget it’s on.

Other electric kettles run around $20. I have NO idea why you’d need something other than this one.
