Rite Aid: Better than free Airwick Aerosol

Reader Amit verified for us that the Airwick Aerosol is included in this month’s Single Check Rebate offer: Buy 3 participating products, Get $3 SCR (limit 1).  Here’s what your deal could look like:

Purchase:
(3) Airwick Aerosol Air Fresheners (8 oz) $1
Load $1/2 Saving Star eCoupon
Pay $3, Get $1 Saving Star rebate and submit for $3 SCR
FREE + $1 overage after eCoupon and rebate

I also checked on the price of the Airwick Holiday candles while I was shopping this morning:

Airwick Holiday Candles (3 oz) priced at $3.29
Use $1/1 coupon
Use $1/1 Rite Aid Video Values store coupon (October)
$1.29 after coupons
*These should ring up with your Wellness+ discount, so as low as $.63 after coupons

If you wanted to buy two candles, you could use the $2/2 Saving Star eCoupon instead of the printable manufacturer’s coupons and save yourself some ink.

Leave a comment if you found any great deals today.  How did your shopping trips go?

Be sure to check out the rest of this week’s Rite Aid deals here.

Just a heads up i was following Josie on Southern Cali Saver and one of her readers brought to her attention a .50/2 coupon from this Home Saver website:http://registration.rb.com/homesolutionsnews.us/offers/ —under the “home” tab. I personally went and did this deal sunday morning in Gresham and it worked fine…just for people that that might not feel like doing the e coupon’s like me.

So how is this different from the cellfire ecoupons we used to stack with manuf. coupons at Safeway before they “fixed” the system so that it was no longer possible? (except for the fact that SavingsStar issues a credit vs taking the amount off your total.)

Does SavingsStar specifically state that you aren’t to stack them with manuf.coupons? I ask these question because I don’t want to abuse the system, but I am a little surprised and confused.

    Thanks!

This is what their site says:

SavingStar eCoupons will work whether or not you combine them with other services’ coupons, but they are not intended to be used this way. Generally, manufacturers state that it is against their policies for shoppers to redeem more than one manufacturer’s coupon for the same purchase. Using in-store coupons in combination with SavingStar eCoupons is not a problem.
In the future, we may implement mechanisms to limit the combination of SavingStar eCoupons with other manufacturer coupons.

So while they are absolutely not intended to be stacked, they have nothing in place to limit us using both. Sometimes it will be hard to keep track of what you have loaded on your card and you may inadvertently use both. I will never post that you can use both a man. coupon and an eCoupon together, to hopefully jog your memory (and mine) of what coupons we have.

      Hope that helps!

I didn’t know that you couldn’t stack a Manuf Coupon with a SavingStar eCoupon. When I bought Ester-C Gummies at RiteAid (last week I think), I used a RA Video Value Coupon and a Manuf Coupon at the store and still got the $1 eCoupon deposited in my SavingStar account.

They aren’t meant to be stacked together, but it will work. I often forget about the Saving Star coupons that are loaded to my card, so it’s happened to me a few times as well. The best we can do is “try” not to stack them. 🙂
