I ran to Rite Aid this morning and did quite possibly the world’s easiest transaction.

Purchased:
(5) Green Giant Canned Vegetables $1
Crest Complete Toothpaste $2.99
Aleve (50 caplets) $5.59 w/ Wellness+ discount
Used (2) $.50/2 Green Giant coupons from 11/13 GM insert
Used $1/1 Crest coupon from 10/30 PG insert
Used $2/1 Aleve coupon
Used $1/1 Aleve Rite Aid store coupon from weekly ad

Total spent: $8.58
Will submit for: $2.99 Single Check Rebate for Crest

Final price: $5.59 + I still have $4 in +UP Rewards to spend

After factoring in my +UP Rewards, this is like spending $.23 per item!

Reader Amanda left a comment on this week’s full match ups with a fantastic scenario on Almay products:

Almay Cosmetics on sale BOGO 50% off
Buy 1, Get $4 +UP Reward – limit 2

****Deal Scenario****
(2) Almay Makeup Remover Pads (80 ct) $5.99 (1 will ring up $2.99)
Pay $8.98, Get $8 in +UPs and submit for $2 SCR
FREE + $1.02 overage after rewards and rebate

Be sure to check out the rest of this week’s Rite Aid deals here.

The ad says the vegetables are 5 for $5. Did you get 5 for $1? I need canned veggies, so I’m hoping your scenario is right. 🙂 Thanks.

The scenario is right, but I got 5 cans for $1 each. Sorry if that’s a little confusing. The math is right on how much I spent out of pocket though, super cheap!

The rite aid coupon in the ad for aleve also says manufacturers coupon so I am wondering am I still able to use it with the other printable coupon?

All of Rite Aid’s coupons are labeled “manufacturer coupon”, I think just to confuse us. If you check the bar codes, the RA coupons generally start with RC49 and according to their coupon policy, they can be stacked with a traditional man. coupon. Here’s the policy to print and carry with you if you’d like, it’s very clear: http://www.frugallivingnw.com/rite-aid-store-guide/

When I post these updates, they are my actual scenarios that I have done myself so everything I list is per the policy and has worked for me!
