Safeway: Almond Accents Catalina

Reader Shelley has confirmed that the Almond Accents Catalina is not only printing, but that it prints in multiples!  The machine is also printing $1.50/3 coupons.  You may want to take a gander over to the garbage cans and see if you can get your hands on some of those as well.  Here are two scenarios, with and without coupons that will maximize your savings.

Buy 6 Almond Accents on sale $1.49
Use (2) $1.50/3 coupons
Pay $5.94, get (3) $1 Catalinas
$.49 each after coupons and Catalinas

or without coupons:

Buy 6 Almond Accents on sale $1.49
Pay $8.94, get (3) $1 Catalinas
$.99 each after coupons and Catalinas

See next weeks Safeway deals here. (Starting tomorrow)

One other Safeway report-on a SAD note-the Sunset Esplanade one in Hillsboro just this week is no longer doing paper and ecoupons on the same item. I tried a few days ago and the machine wouldn’t allow it. Not only that, but I had 3 or 4 ecoupons and only one came up!
Well I got lots of free items this way & knew this day was coming eventually.

I love these on salads & there hasn’t been a decent price, let alone a deal all this year for me-so I have been doing without! Was so excited so went first thing today and surprisingly I found more tearpad coupons by the salad-.55 (no where near the almonds!)-I had two from a long time ago I picked up, but was pleased for this as I plan to get MANY!! Also the catalina coupon $1.50/3 printed off for me too-& the $1 catalina to spend next time. But the tearpad ones doubled-so a better deal & can buy in multiples of two which even gives a few cents overage!
Also my Safeway (Hillsboro, sunset esplanade) finally got two types of the artisan Fresh Express salads. I have a $1 coupon on this type (for more than 6 months now) & keep watching for it! They only had one type today, but I asked and the other one is coming in tomorrow.

Worked for me today in Newberg, OR. I actually had a tearpad coupon (who knows where I picked it up it was so long ago) for 1.00 off almond accents AND any bagged salad. Since I was getting the salad anyway, it worked great. I got 2 Marie’s dressings, 2 bags of salad, 2 almond accents and used two 1.00/1 Marie’s, one .55 Fresh Express salad, and one 1.00 off almond accents and salad. Used 4 doubles to pay $3.39 and got back a 1.00 catalina!
