Most of these deals use a Safeway double coupon, which is available at Oregon & SW Washington (Wahkiakum, Cowlitz, Clark, Skamania & Klickitat Counties) Safeways only. You can double up to 4 manufacturer’s coupons per transaction, up to $.50 each. You may not double a coupon marked with “Do Not Double” or an internet printable coupon. The double coupon is found in the weekly ad at the bottom of the middle page and look’s like this:

Thanks, for the early peek at the ad Who Spends Money!

for all the dr pepper fans out there, it’s only $0.79 for the 2L bottles, so combine with the 10/50 q for lots of soda:)
Michelle,
What Safeway were you at that you found this awesome Dr Pepper deal? I looked yesterday in Vancouver and they were 3/$5.
Thanks!
the one in Roseburg – the dr pepper was labeled that price in the aisle, I made sure to take that label with me when I checked out – I think it was part of the Sunkist/7up 2L $0.79 sale
They also have mission tortillas on sale for $2 for a 10 count and checkout 51 is giving a .75 rebate, makes it 1.25, I wonder if there’s a coupon out there also…..
I can’t see any tortilla rebate on Checkout 51.
Actually tomorrow the tortillas are 5/5, so $1 each. They are the last product or second to the last product on checkout 51 on my list.
There were several options of the Plum Organics pouches on sale for $0.99 making them free with the $1.00/1 Any Plum Organics coupon. The more “sophisticated” pouch blends are 4/$5.00 and the Puffs & Little Cremes are on sale as well. Makes for a good deal for these products!!
Where did you get the Plum Organics coupon from?
My ad says “prices in this ad good only at your 13485 NW Cornell Rd, Cedar Mill Safeway.” I wonder, is this the only Safeway I can shop to get my Just4U now? It’s not the closest one to me, not even the one I shop regularly. Do you see that in your ads?
Last week and this week, my ad says it’s good only at the West Linn store. I think that is because they are doing a “grand reopening” after a remodel. Our ad also has an extra page with “grand reopening” deals that are only good at West Linn. Last week it was Tillamook cheese for $4.99, can’t remember what the offer was this week. I believe the rest of the ad is the same as all Portland metro stores, even though it does say on the front that it’s good at a specific store only.
Yes, I get these pretty much every week for the Barbur Blvd store in SW Portland, which reopened last Nov. It’s usually just the front page of the ad that’s unique to the designated store. But the ad I got today is the generic one.
You can check different store ads on the website and compare locations. Just looked up and the difference in the 2 ads is cornell has cantaloupes on sale 2/4 instead of 2/5 and the t-bones are 4.99 a pound instead of 5.99 else where.
Can’t find the cheerios coupon in the local 4/13 ss ad. Am I missing anything?
The coupon is for a variety of General Mills brand cereals including Cheerios. It won’t be just for Cheerios. Does that help?
Been through mine a dozen times and only see a coupon for honey bunches of oats. There is two ss that week and I don’t see it in either. Weird.
dan,
I didn’t get the cereal coupon in my SS insert either (both the Oregonian and Columbian).
However, there is a $1/2 Cheerios coupon to print from their website (look at the tabs on their homepage for the coupon one).
If you want the coupon I would print it today since it’s the last day of the month and they usually update their coupons on the 1st.
You can get General Mills cpns at bettycrocker.com too, also pillsbury.com and boxtops4education.com. But the sites interface, and there are limits.
The oregonian changed to Wednesday delivery in my area, it still has my regional ads and the food day.
Does anyone know if American Express charges a fee when you buy a gift card? Safeway is giving $10 off your next order when you purchase a GC over $100.00 Thanks!
I did this deal last week. The activation fee is $5.95 so with the $10, it it’s still a $4.05 money maker
Thank you
I bought the AMEX last week before shopping, then bought my groceries. The card wouldn’t go through. It took a few hours to “activate”. The fine print says it is available immediately although can take up to 4 hours.
You probably didn’t pass the background check. 🙂
That’s so weird PJ!
It’s been awhile since I’ve done the AMEX deal, but I’ve always used it right after purchasing it and never had any issues.
Darn it Oregonian I didn’t get my paper today, am I the only one?
Oregonian changed delivery days to Wednesdays. Foodday comes Tuesdays though.
I haven’t gotten the free paper for two weeks-anyone else experience this?-I am in Hillsboro.
During the brief times I was a total non-subscriber, the delivery of the Tues FoodDay was hit or miss, and I often called to try to get it regularly. (This was some years ago.)
I live in Forest Grove and we haven’t gotten one in nearly a year. No idea what happened.
I’ve worked out there in Forest Grove several times and noticed that they deliver the free paper at only a few of the communities and out there…I wonder if there’s only one delivery person out there who can’t go everywhere?
Well after none for two weeks-got it today 🙂 Just in time for Rite Aids great money maker on the efferdent 😉
Does anyone know if $5 diapers deal on Friday counts for $10 off $40.
Does anyone know if you can combine the diaper deal-spend $40 get $10 off instantly-with the $10/$50 coupon and have it turn out to be a good deal?
I imagine they would combine, but since the $10/$40 is a store coupon, you’d need $40 in diapers and $20 in other products. Once the $10 for the diapers came off, your total would be $50 and you could use the $10/$50. I do not think it would work without that extra. Unless it’s a $10 catalina that you get. Then disregard everything I just said.
I tried to use the pasta q yesterday. Only good on whole wheat. The barilla sauce q is not doublable.
That is the more recent Barilla coupon-although that one is part of the sale too-but the older one from 3/23 SS (.55/2 & can double) is on the “blue” boxes-I got two today, so 2/.95.
Any word on a stated limit on the in store little Dennie coupon or where I can find that info?
I don’t see any limit. This product can be hard to find sometimes.
Does anyone know if there is a limit on the in store coupon for little Dennie’s?
I believe it is a limit of 1?
No Little Debbie coupon in the Oregonian! Darn Oregonian!
Oh I found it. Donut crisis averted! PHEW!
Congratulations! Donuts are a basic food group. When I got my new license plates in 2011, they ended in FMD. I told everyone that stands for Feed Me Donuts.
You’re lucky. My mom’s is RIP!
does anyone know if the $10/$50 safeway q is in the paper today?
I just had my husband check and he found it in my Eugene register guard.
Oh yes, I meant to write that at the top of the post. I will update it now. Thanks!
Yay! 🙂
Thank you so much for mentioning this. I wasn’t expecting it until next week and would not have been looking for it. I bought a couple of papers and made two trips last night to Safeway. Thank you!
I adore these coupons….i make trips that take me up to $200 oop every month. That gives me $50 more for the rest of the month on milk & fruit etc.
All other stores/deals I partake in are categorized as therapy (retail therapy that is).
JH–the $10 cpn comes out the Tues/Weds closest to the first of the month, almost without fail.
