Most of these deals use a Safeway double coupon, which is available at Oregon & SW Washington (Wahkiakum, Cowlitz, Clark, Skamania & Klickitat Counties) Safeways only. You can double up to 4 manufacturer’s coupons per transaction, up to $.50 each. You may not double a coupon marked with “Do Not Double” or an internet printable coupon. The double coupon is found in the weekly ad at the bottom of the middle page and look’s like this:

Got a Cat the other day that said buy 15-19 yoplait get $1.50 cat or buy 20 and get $2 cat. It starts Monday. So today on way home stopping to get 20 with my 45cent personalized deal and a few 40 cent off coupons. Should pay 27 cents each. If i can find some clearance once, it will be less 🙂
When i got groceries this weekend, i got a catalina advertising a catalina for Yoplait yogurt. Buy 15-19 of them and get a $1.50 cat, or buy 20 and get a $2. Prices do not start until Monday 01/27 (good thru like the 23rd of Feb). I have a personal price on Yoplait for 45cents, so getting mine Monday on way home. 🙂 With coupons and doublers, i think i can get it down to 27cents each. (Now to find a few clearance once).
Budding deli cuts are bogo for $4.99 and there is a $2/2 mfr coupon making them only $1.50 a package
where is the mfr coupon for this
10-27 SS (expires 1-31), although I think there may have been a more recent one. I remember seeing this cpn twice.
Howard I’m glad you know the dates for the inserts cause I clip my coupons every Sunday and put in binders so I never know which inserts or dates.
There was a more recent one cause I have 2 different expiration dates.
I don’t memorize the dates; I use the Cpn Database at the top of this page. There have been some problems with it in 2014, though, for the newer inserts.
Also these are usually between 12-16 oz so it’s a way better deal then the Oscar Mayer lunchmeat
Also these are usually between 12-16 oz so it’s a way better deal then the Oscar Mayer lunch meat
There are $.50/1 Suave Naturals shampoo cpns in today’s RP that appear to match up with the existing deal ($.49 each WYB 4). I’ve seen the offer at 2 different stores so far–it’s only on certain “flavors” of shampoo & conditioner, I think. Potentially free or MM with doubler.
Howard,
I’m only seeing Suave Naturals Body Wash coupons in the RP, is it included in the .49 deal? Thanks for the tip about the shampoo, hope my store still has some tomorrow!
I looked Sunday at the 49-centers and they indeed said Suave Naturals (just a couple of flavors). This might be more than a 1-week deal. Will check this out again tomorrow now that I remembered to clip the cpns.
Hi again, I went back today while in the ‘hood and put back the Suave once I looked at the cpn more closely. It reads Suave Naturals or Suave Kids Body Wash, so I inferred that the Naturals also pertains to body wash and nothing else. But if you needed the shampoo (which I doubt; your only shortage seems to be deodorant), $.49 each for 4 is a good price. Sale ended today, by the way.
Ha! I got some .49 shampoo too! I also found an unexpected freebie as well. The Professional Shampoo line is part of the buy 4 save .50 each and I found some on clearance for $1.24 so I used the $1/1 coupons and got them free. Of course, this sale ends today as well.
If you’re in the area of the SW Portland store at 8145 SW Barbur Blvd, pick up a weekly ad at Cust Service. They have a $10 off on $50 cpn, also Gala apples for $.49 a lb, no cpn or limit on the apples.
That store has been having special weekly ads since they remodeled.
The $10 cpn does not specify good at that store only, I believe, and should be good after store discounts but before mfr cpns.
Anyone else notice that the new comment-posts are showing at the top of the heap instead of the bottom? Also–when Safeway gives multiple gas rewards for buying certain products, is it on the whole purchase or just the selected item? This week they have Chunky Soup 4 for $5. There was a recent $1/4 cpn which can double (I passed on the J4U $1/4, which is a mfr cpn and can’t be doubled or combined with the paper one). The soup is part of the buy 4 get 5X gas rewards promo.
Yeah, I don’t like the top of the heap thingy with the comments. I don’t need any help when it comes to being confused with new things on the internets.
The gas rewards situation… you will get the multiple points only on the items that are part of the promo. So, for example after you buy your chunky soup you should get 25 points for buying it instead of just 5 points. You can mix and match too, as long as you buy at least 4 items in one transaction you will earn the bonus points. It’ll show up at the bottom of your receipt.
Thanks, B, I did it today and that’s exactly what happened. The Ivory bars had a $2.39 shelf tag, so I passed on them. They do qualify for the 5X gas rewards (I think all bean products should qualify for gas bonuses). Didn’t see the liquid ivory in small size.
Got the $1.99 Fresh Express salad kit J4U personalized deal today, finally. Printed up a couple cpns at tonytantillo.com which will make them free. The J4U is good for a week for unlimited use. You can print as many of the cpns as you like. They are good only @ Safeway.
I think reg price on the Kits is $2.99, which is still a nice deal with the cpn, even if store doesn’t double printables.
What tooth paste is free
The Crest is not free; the cited cpn is not good on the $.99 kinds.
Yay for having those high value printable coupons from the beginning of the month and a Safeway that doubles printables! $0.17 cereal and free pizza rolls, mmm.
Maruchan instant yakisoba on sale $1, come out free after $.50 mc and dblr, Campbells skillet sauces on sale $1.79 are $.29 after $1 mc and dblr and Gillette shave cream on sale $1.99 is free/ moneymaker after $2 p&g mc and dblr. (Amassing donation supplies, except the yakisoba which goes to the hubby). And I noticed that Newmans own salsa is on sale $1.99 and there were some printables that were posted earlier.
What insert is the yakisoba noodles in? I cant seem to find it. Thanks!
1/12 SS I think.
Crest deal worked today at my safeway!
Thanks for the deals. Whoo hoo. I was able to get 8 bottles of ALL detergent and 3 salad kits for just $10.47. I used the coupons noted here and also had a personalized price/discount of 10% off laundry detergent. I also noticed Safeway had some of the Snuggle fabric softner on sale 2/$6. If you use the $.50/1 coupon from the 1/15 Redplum along with a doubler, it makes them $2 per bottle. Not the best price in the world, but not horrible either (and I am running low). Thanks again. 🙂
I know I clipped some very recent La Vic $1/2 bottles cpns–not sure which circular, and the Cpn Database doesn’t seem to like me so far this year. 🙁 With doubler, they will be $.75 each WYB 2. There were some $1/1 La Vic tortilla cpns adjacent to them. Expiration date 3-2 on the cpns.
The La Victoria coupon is in the 1/12ss.
Howard, I have to tell you every time I come on here I see so many helpful tips and deals from you. Thank you:-)
You are so welcome. Maybe I’ll give everyone my home address and you can all send me some BIG CHECKS!! 🙂
Jantzen Bch store has a few jars of Kraft Light Mayo with 50% off stickers. I bought the regular kind for $.74 after cpn/doubler (we have mayo snobs chez Howard), but those Lights could be free if they ring up at $.99 before cpn/doubler.
Tried the Crest today: no go. The $.99 varieties are excluded from the $.75 cpn. On the plus side, there’s a $.50/1 Crest cpn coming out this Sunday on 3+ oz sizes that MIGHT be good on these.
Also, the Safeway Select frozen pizzas are 2 for $5 this Friday only.
We think they are pretty good, and that’s a great price, especially on the large ones. If you’re lucky enough to have a $1/1 any Select item cpn, that will make them even cheaper.
I also saw Suave shampoo/conditioner for $.49 each WYB 4. There are Suave cpns coming out in 1-26 RP, but not on the basic stuff.
Thanks for the match-ups, Brittany!
Unfortunately, the Crest deal will not work out. The varieties that are on sale for.99 are specifically excluded on the coupon.
However, Ivory hand soap is part of the .99 sale so you could use the $1/2 coupon (12/29 P&G) and double to get them for .24 each. Also, Carefree pantiliners are .99 and there is a .50 coupon (1/5 SS) that you can double to get it for free.
Don’t see the Ivory in my weekly ad (I get a different one, for now, because our local store remodeled and has extra specials), but I will look anyway. Thanks!
It wasn’t in the ad, but if you look at your online account under the Your Club Specials tab, it lists products that are on sale that you have previously purchased. The Ivory showed up on there last week for me and goes through to 1/28.
OK, you’re right. I saw the liquid Ivory today at a different store for $.99 but had already nixed the deal earlier when I thought it was on the soap bars, and refiled the paper cpns at home. 🙁
Darn, I hate when I do that!
Couldn’t resist; went back today and got 4 for $.96.
Sweet I have a 10% off laundry detergent.
Alls been on sale a lot, not complaining
Is the All 100oz $3.00 on Friday or is it $5.00?
Oh good catch. $5. I’ll fix it.
1/5 RP2 has All coupons also $3/2 & $1.
Note the friday sale is for a larger size (100 oz)-I am assuming it is actually $5, would be = $3.25 with double & buying 2,
& the weekly $3 sale is for 50 oz =$1.25 with double & buying 2.
Thanks! I’ll add that.
