On New Years we like to sit around drinking hot cocoa or tea eating popcorn (or chips-my boys love chips) and watch a couple of movies.

We make our own holiday “crackers” so we can open them later and eat the candy!
Play games with family, eat food that doesn’t require much cooking, eat left over homemade Xmas goodies (fudge, peanut butter fudge, divinity, almond rocha and peanut brittle are my specialties!) and wait for the ball to drop at midnight on TV, then scream and yell and run around like crazy ppl yelling Happy new year and kiss my fiancé, soon to be husband!
We always make pigs in a blanket!
Every year we put out a spread of food for newyears day. Buffalo wings are the favorite recipe of the day.

Before we had little one’s we loved to stay up late playing games with friends. Now, we go to bed like any other night:)
We get together with a few families from Church and we play board games, laugh, talk, eat, and share some sparkling cider for a toast at midnight!!!! Sooo much fun!! 🙂
