What a wonderful week to be living the Frugal Life! Check out what I scored yesterday:
First, two short trips to Safeway:
Safeway Grand Total: $.70 for 8 cartons of broth–I used my own bags, saving an additional $.06.
On to Albertsons:
Steamfresh Frozen Vegetables–$.59 each – $.35/coupon – $.35 Safeway double = FREE with $.11 overage
Philly Cream Cheese–$.99 each with Fred Meyer coupon
Albertson’s Grand Total–$.76
Two updates on Albertsons:
1. My friend Melinda did the Kellogg’s cereal deal and the register automatically deducted $4.50 from her total for the milk, regardless of the actual cost. She got 4 boxes of cereal and a gallon of milk for $2.57 ($13.50 (cereal & milk) – 4 $1/1 Kellogg’s coupons, -$2 Safeway doubles, -$4.50 milk).
2. The Happy Valley/Clackamas store does not have the Better Butter flavor of Jolly Time Popcorn in stock, so I was unable to use the $1.50/1 IP coupon. Perhaps other stores carry it.
