The Christmas Tree Project: Family #8 (Forest Grove)

Family #8 is from Forest Grove, Oregon. They have 1 adult and 1 child in their household.

I am a single mother with no extended living family. I have been unemployed since July. The job search has been very difficult but I’m hopeful because I’m still getting interviews. My small savings have depleted and I am relying solely on unemployment. There isn’t any extra in my budget beyond mortgage, insurance and very basic living expenses. My grocery shopping is now entirely on what I can coupon for free or the deepest discounts and I thank your website for that.

This is a list of what they both need and gifts for the kids this year. If you select one of the identification numbers, you are committing to providing for all the “needs” and at least one “want” listed.

#8-1: Girl, Age 17
Needs: White athletic socks (no-show), hoodie sweatshirt (size women’s 2X, any color but black), hair dryer
Wants: Journal, colored drawing pencils, anything with the Sock Monkey on it

#8-2: Woman, Age 46
Needs: Black knee-high stockings (queen), haircut
Wants: Jigsaw puzzle

If you are able to provide for one or more of these people, please comment with your working email and the identification number in the text section (i.e. I’ll take #1-3 and #1-5!). Go here for more information on donation drop-off locations and times.
