Wow, that was alot of W’s!
I had been wanting to do the Walgreen’s Huggies deal since Sunday, but with no Hubbie around and with doing a trip to Safeway and getting ready for MOMS group at our church, there just hadn’t been time. I was beginning to think I wouldn’t get to take advantage of it as I was leaving to go see my sister and family in Tacoma right after MOMS and then on to see my husband in Issaquah. Thankfully, I put Luke down for bed and Nik was watching a movie with his cousin and I said, “Hey, can I go to Walgreen’s?!” and my sister gave me the green light, so off I went!

I was thinking I had to buy the tic tac’s because I needed items for my extra coupons to attach to, but now I am realizing I didn’t have extra coupons (I had been thinking i was going to be able to the $4/1 coupons on each of the Glades, but was only able to use 2) and then the candy bar was because the total came to – $.51 and he would have had to call a manager to get an override. Needless to say, I was super excited when I was leaving the store and had to call Angela right away to share my excitement. (Thanks for being excited with me, Angela!:))
Now what I didn’t mention is that after he rang up all this stuff and the coupons the total originally came to $8.and something. I was confused and then he said, “it is all tax.” Ohhhh!
Oops! “Haha” I said sheepishly and then said, “I forgot to tell you that I’m from Oregon:) HehHeh. So he had to void the whole thing and ring it all up again along with the coupons. I was a little freaked out that it wasn’t going to work again, but it did! No beeping from the machine either.
He was amazed.
So was I:)
And yes, even though I have been doing this for a while now, I do still get freaked out with these complicated transactions. My heart was racing until I got back to my sisters home, thanks Kellie for taking care of Luke!
