I just got an email from our reader, Jaynee:

Thanks so much for the DealPulp/thredUP promo.  I got the $5 deaDealPulp credit without any problems, and ordered today’s deal.  Then went to thredUP website and signed up (just to learn more and get a look at how it works)….AND they gave me a FREE BOX with FREE SHIPPING just for signing up!  So, I’ll be getting two boxes of used clothes for $1 shipped! Thanks so much!

Obviously, I can’t confirm that this will happen for all of you, but you just may be surprised at what you get when signing up for thredUP!

am addicted to swapping – if you want to get more than what fits into a small box, (and get rid of more than what fits in a small box) try http://www.peaceloveswap.com
For only $5 you can come and enjoy our family friendly venues and let your kiddos play while you swap – take whatever you need .. yes, for only $5 – strollers, books, movies, pack and plays –you name it we swap it ; )
If you don’t have an event like this in your city – please email me if you would like to get one started – it’s a great way to swap, earn extra cash, and help your community (left over items from our swaps are donated to charity)
    Thanks,
Meg – Founder, peace. love. swap

Wondering if those of you who received free boxes just for signing up checked the “military/military family” box during registration? *If so, I’m thinking this might be generating the freebie for some but not all first-timers?

I got a code for a free box with the purchase of my first box, so not sure if the $1 deal will count as purchasing one.

I also got a free box when I signed up on thredup.com! Just ordered a box of books and coloring books for my son. 🙂

Seriously, what am I doing wrong? I have signed up four different times, with four different e-mail addresses. I confirmed them and everything. I even e-mailed the company earlier today and haven’t heard back. It keeps saying $6. Could someone help me out please? Thanks!

Just signed up, I got 50 percent off my first box. Not as great as free, but not bad!
