Looking for an inexpensive activity for your kids and grandkids? Check out our area’s family-friendly movie programs at local theaters and free outdoor movie events!


Regal Summer Movie Express

Each participating theater shows the same movie on Tuesday and Wednesday at 10:00 am. Admission is $1 per person. Find the list of movies here.

Oregon theaters: Albany, Bend, Eugene, Gresham, Hillsboro, Oregon City, Portland, Salem, Sherwood, Tigard, and Wilsonville

Washington: Auburn, Bellevue, Bellingham, Bonney Lake, Everett, Kennewick, Lacey, Lakewood, Lynnwood, Marysville, Poulsbo, Puyallup, Renton, Seattle, Spokane Valley, Vancouver

Cinemark Summer Movie Clubhouse

Each participating theater shows a movie on Tuesday morning. Admission is $1 per person or 10 films for $5 if purchased in advance. Find the list of movies here.

Oregon theaters: Medford, Portland, Clackamas, Springfield

Washington: Federal Way, Olympia

Portland Summer Free for All: Movies in the Park

Enjoy a family-friendly movie in a local Portland park for FREE (bring you own snacks, chairs, and blankets). Pre-movie entertainment begins at 6:30pm, including live performances by local musicians and free popcorn. Movies begin at dusk.

Pioneer Courthouse Square Flicks on the Bricks

On four Friday evenings in July and August, the Square will be transformed into Portland’s largest outdoor movie theater for the entire community to enjoy! Movies begin at dusk.

Make sure that you don’t have a double standard and spend lots of time playing video games or watching TV also. If the E68 error is still showing, then you may need to have your console checked by Microsoft. A this point you may think I am talking rubbish, because like you I know how hard it is to copy video games when you have not got the right tools at hand, and some people may not even know they are using tools that cannot get the job done.

Also, many larger McMenamins venues offer movies on the lawn at dusk. Specifically, the grand lodge. Check their website/facebook for more info/details
