Thanks for emphasizing what I’ve been preaching for years. Computing TP price by number of rolls is not accurate. Rolls come in all different sizes, of course, and we know all too well that they keep getting smaller all the time. What I would add is to determine whether it is one- or two-ply paper, in addition to the sq feet. Price being equal, I’ll buy 400 sq feet of 2-ply before I’ll buy 600 sq feet of 1-ply. I figure it takes twice as much one-ply as it does two-ply. I bought multiple packages of Walgreens Sunny Smile 2-ply TP last year for $1.99, and it is going to last me for many years. Also got the paper towels in 8-roll packages at the same price.
