As a mom of so. many. children, I am well aware of how expensive building a wardrobe can be for little ones. I just realized last week that two of my boys seemed to be wearing capris and (I will simply not allow that supposed fashion trend to take root in my home). How does a person grow that many inches in such a short period of time? And that’s just my older ones. The small people grow out of clothes so quickly, I can’t seem to keep up.

As more people have been added to our home, the more value I put on my time, especially when it comes to finding affordable, nice-looking clothes for all the people. Gone are the days of exploring several stores, looking through clearance racks, and slowly building a wardrobe on a budget for each kid. Ain’t no one gots time for that.

Now I flock to the nicely set-up displays of coordinated tops and bottoms. One-stop shopping at it’s finest. This is why I am excited to chat about the Garanimals clothing line for newborns to toddlers from Walmart. Garanimals is carefully designed to provide babies and kids with affordable fashion and comfort while guaranteeing quality, value, and ease of shopping to parents. Garanimals pieces are designed to mix and match so one pair of pants works perfectly with a number of their tops, making for a quick and affordable wardrobe!

Here are 3 tips to make the most of a limited clothing budget and limited shopping time:

Skip the fancy patterned bottoms and only buy solid color pants. It’s much easier to find cute tops on sale or secondhand than bottoms, so spend your cash on the pants and make sure they will coordinate with anything. I typically buy brown, grey, and navy blue pants for my boys and neutral pink, grey, and brown for my girls.

Only purchase clothing that you know will coordinate with something already in your kid’s wardrobe. A pair of patterned pants found on clearance is not a deal if you have to buy a specific shirt to go with it (see tip #1).

Don’t spend a ton of money on any clothing for kids under 5. Seriously. They will outgrow it quickly and might stain it anyway. This allows me to buy awesome, high-quality clothing for ME, the only person in my home who will truly appreciate it :).

Head to your local Walmart or Walmart.com to check out the full line of Garanimals clothing for baby, toddlers, and preschoolers!
