IF you can get your mitts on a FM 4-day ad for the Tigard store, they are offering some boffo deals thru Sat to combat the nearby WalMart opening. (There MIGHT be some in-store; mine came in the Weds Oregonian.) Kroger Ice cream 48-0z $.99, Kroger 6-8 oz cheese $.99, Best Foods mayo $1.99, Irish Spring bar soap $.99, Nathan’s dogs $2.50, 13-oz Kettle chips $2, Bush’s beans $.99 and more. Also a cpn for double rewards points thru 10-11 for that store. Limits on some of the products–some require in-ad cpns, some don’t.
Howard says
There’s a FM website e-cpn on the Irish Spring bar soap for $1/2 that might work alongside the in-ad cpn.

If I buy 4 of the Dreyers ice cream in a single transaction will the ECoupon automatically come off twice since you can use it up to 5 times or I do have to do separate transactions? Thanks!
Howard says
My guess is you don’t have to do separate transactions; I would think you could use the e-cpn for a total of $10 off, regardless of how many transactions it takes.
Howard says
Actually, I just looked at the electronic cpn. You can use it only ONCE, but up to 5X in a single transaction.
Cindy says
We bought 2 Dreyers ice cream and 2 drumsticks (also on the deal). We had the coupon from the paper, which was 2 Dreyers or frozen treats for $5.00. I did the load to card coupon for $2.00 off 2. The load to cards worked. The drumsticks were $3.00 and the receipt took $.50 of each of those, but the Dreyers were $3.00 and $.50 were not taken of of each of those. I went to Customer service today and she said I could not use the ad which was a 7 day store coupon with the load to coupons as they were also considered a store coupon. Is this correct?
Howard says
The FM e-cpn page says they cannot be combined with mfr paper cpns, so in my mind it should have worked. No different than using a clip-out mfr cpn with a weekly store cpn. Readers have reported success using this combo in the past.
Michelle says
Obviously not because it worked for the drumsticks. It’s almost like there was a limit of 2. I checked the coupon and that’s not the case as it states can be used up to 5 times in same transaction. I would take it back to the service desk and try someone else. Hope you find someone helpful 🙂

With the Betty Crocker fruit snacks…is the $6/4 a Fred Meyer or Manuf coup? I’m wondering if I can also use my $1/3 and/or.50/2 coupons with it as well….
Howard says
FM electronic cpns are almost invariably mfr cpns. The company is emphatic about not combining these with paper mfr cpns. It’s on their coupon policy page as well as the electronic cpn pages.

Has anyone noticed that chicken prices have gone up lately?? I think it was around 2.50/lb at Fred Meyer a few months ago…
Howard says
Chicken, beef, bacon, hot dogs, lunchmeats etc have gotten quite expensive. Seems like not that long ago I was paying $.69/lb or less for whole chickens, now I have to wait for them to be $.99 and stock up. I don’t buy a lot of meat anymore, and I have a moderate supply in my freezer. Safeway has boneless pork chops for $1.99 thru Tuesday; I bought some Friday and they were very good and lean. Have bought these many times in the past.
Cassandra says
Sadly, I have not seen them for $.10 this year 🙁

Would love a dozen milks for 1.25

Me too! Just updated.

I am just wondering.. does Fred Meyer still have their sale on 1 subject spiral notebooks for $.10? I missed it, or they didn’t have them on sale last year. And, I have not seen them yet this year. Does anyone know?
Howard says
Still a couple weeks before school starts, so they still might show up on sale. Don’t see any in today’s Staples or Off Max/Depot ads.
I have a stash of notebooks, 2-pocket folders, printer paper, binder paper, pencils, erasers and many other school and office supplies, much of which I’m probably going to give away. If anyone wants some of this stuff, email me hgroopman @ yahoo.com. I live in SW Portland near Tigard.
vi says
The lowest price I have seen is 19 cents last week.
charolyn says
BiMart has them for 6/$1.00 through the 20th.
Overall prices are definitely higher than last year & typically -based on past years, we are about at the end of the great sales -so don’t wait too long 🙁
Michelle says
You must buy all in one transaction. You can buy up to 10 and get the discount. Once you redeem it though, it disappears and is nla.
Michelle says
Oops, my first comment won’t make any sense bc I meant to reply to Candyce 🙂 On a different subject… look out for peelies on Jello pudding snacks. They are on sale 3 for $5 and the peelie is $1/1. Buy 3, use 3 peelies…pay $2 for 3.
