I Take delivery of Sun. Oregonian. And I’m wondering why our paper hasn’t had any Red Plum inserts in it since first part of Oct. Live in King City. Know not all coupons listed are in our regions Red Plum And SS insert- but not us and our neighbors getting any Red Plum inserts. Are other areas of Portland getting them? I’ve called the Oregonian and was given what they said was their Warehouse no, but it was again customer service no., and they have no idea about not receiving Red Plum in Sun. O.

I read RedPlum pulled inserts from several newspapers last year and they are now removing them from others. There is an article here: http://simplecoupondeals.com/2017/05/16/changes-to-redplum-coupon-inserts-no-longer-in-sunday-paper/
You may be able to get them mailed to you.

RedPlum became a mail-only insert here a couple of months ago. There are issues going on nationally with SmartSource and RP because of people stealing stacks of them and (often) selling the cpns online, or hoarding them. P&G inserts also are being withheld in some cities, although the Oregonian still inserts them. (I think eventually all cpns will be offered solely online for printing and thru smartphone apps.) There’s an excellent article on the couponsinthenews website dated Aug 8 that explains this in detail. If you ever want an extra SS insert, pick up a free Portland Tribune on Tues or Thurs during the weeks the Oregonian has a SS. I cut my Weds/Sun Oregonian delivery from 3 to 2 to 1 paper in the past couple years because they kept raising the price. Now that’s looking like a wise choice considering the inserts situation. I negotiated a price of $1 week last April for a year of Weds/Sun. The once-reliable carrier I had must have quit, because now it comes late or not at all frequently. And the mailwoman often brings my RP mailer Weds or Thurs instead of Tues, and sometimes not at all, like this past week.

Thanks Howard about the info on Red Plum inserts.I pick up a Port. Tribune most weeks and noticed SS in it. Oregonian couldn’t tell me why no Red Plum inserts. I take the Sun O especially for the coupons for 13 weeks for $12.87 so for that price will continue taking it. Thanks again for your info.

Read the web sites that BrookS and Howard mentioned. A few mentioned getting Red Plum coupon inserts in mail I get a Red Plum in the mail, but its Safeway add and other adds, no coupons like Sun. paper Red Plum. Both those web sites very informative, appreciate being told about them.
