This did not work for me this morning at Burlingame FM. Maybe because I bought the bonus size. No cat came out, so I went to customer service to return them and start all over. But the guy there was fantastic. He had a binder of some kind with bar codes in it. He re-rang the Suaves, scanned the bar code in his book, and it kicked out the cat cpn. Then I did it a 2nd time and I got another cat. Also used the “free meal donation” cpn along with both purchases, but those required an override. Note that you can’t roll the $2 cat onto a 2nd transaction because it slightly exceeds the $1.99 total, unless of course you buy something else.
Right. Did not work today at Tigard FM. Clerk said it did not work for a customer earlier too. Had to go to Customer Service where they couldn’t find the Catalina binder I think Howard mentions. They just handed me $2 cash. Probably wouldn’t have done it if I knew the hassle but kudos to FM who wanted to make it right.
Can you roll the Catalina and buy more suave body wash and receive another catalina?
Yes, except the cat is for $2, and you will be paying only $1.99 for the two Suaves, so you’d have to buy something else in the 2nd transaction to make it work.
