Packing for a trip can be a fun game of trying to figure out what to pack and what to leave when trying to keep our bags as light as possible and still make sure we take what is needed!
Here is a tip for leaving fragrance bottles (that can break or leak) at home and still have your favorite perfume on the road:
Look inside many of the popular magazines that include the tear-away fragrance (perfume or cologne) samplers in them. Remove them and cut them into one-inch strips and store them in zip-lock bags to use them when you need. When you’re at your final destination, just rub the strip on your wrist and you’re ready to go!
Easy solution without all the mess! If you don’t have access to the samples, you can always just spritz your perfume on a strip of paper and put it in a baggie!

Get one those little travel screw top containers(normally used for creams or lotions). Cut up some cotton wool discs to fit the container. Spray as many cotton wool discs with perfume until damp. Place into the container. I have not had any dry out on any of my trips.

Interesting. I’ve been saving those samples for years, but never thought of taking on a trip. Great idea. I used to save for some teenagers who loved expensive perfumes but couldn’t afford to buy. And those samples like in the Macy’s advertising pamphlets are expensive perfumes to purchase. If there is one thing I hate, it is cheap perfumes.
