Well, phooey! on the Annie’s. Thanks to those of you who noticed and commented. Ever since Albertson’s took over, I’ve been buying less at Safeway.

Check your online J4U acct, especially personalized deals and free offers. I found freebies on Mtn Dew green/white/black and Jolly Time Simply Popped popcorn.

The Oregonian 3-26 and 4-9 SS don’t seem to have those Nabisco cpns. They used to include those all the time. I know I used one not long ago on $5 Friday for Cheese Nips and paid 38 cents each for 2 boxes after doubler. (They were 5 for $5)

Re Arm & Hammer cpns: if you print from their site, you must register and can print each cpn only once per calendar year. The Slide cat litter may or may not be included in the $5 sale Friday. The 3-5 SS also has $1 A&H cpns that are good on ANY litter, so you can at least get $3.50 litter for sure with doubler.

Regarding the Annie’s Mac and Cheese and Fruit Snacks, if you look closely at the ad, it indicates that you get that price “with on pack coupon”. They have a huge display of fruit snacks, for example, that are priced at $1.99 but they all have $1 off coupons on the package (which are do not double), so the price is $.99 after the coupon. I used my $.75 off printable that I doubled (not the on pack coupon), so I only end up paying $.74 each, but they were not free.

Thanks for pointing that out before I went to the trouble of printing the online cpns.
Earlier today, I loaded a $1 Annie’s mac and cheese cpn to my J4U account, which essentially matches the one on the package but can’t be combined with it.

This ad is very deceiving! Unless you look very closely, you won’t realize that the sale price is actually their price minus the coupon on the package. Shame on Safeway! I ended up buying several packages of Annie’s products, thinking I was getting them for free. I wouldn’t have bought them if I had looked closer. I guess it’s ‘shame on me’. Next time I will need to be more thorough.
