Most of these deals use a Safeway double coupon, which is available at Oregon & SW Washington (Wahkiakum, Cowlitz, Clark, Skamania & Klickitat Counties) Safeways only. You can double up to 4 manufacturer’s coupons per transaction, up to 50¢ each. The double coupon is found in the weekly ad at the bottom of the middle page and look’s like this:
Safeway stores are inconsistent from store to store with their double coupon policy. The following is taken directly from Safeway’s Just4U coupon policy on their website:
Check with your local store regarding “double coupon” promotions where customers will receive double the manufacturer coupon face value off the regular or club card price up to the identified limit. Not all locations offer double coupon promotions and the terms of such promotions may differ by time and store. Limitations and restrictions for double coupon promotions may change at any time. Changes will be posted in store only. “Double coupon” promotions do not apply to any internet or digital coupons except for applicable internet printed manufacturer coupons. These explanations and restrictions on “double coupons” apply to any promotion that increases the value of a manufacturer coupon beyond its face value.

I had a Just4U price of 2.80 for 7oz Tillamook sliced cheese for which I matched the m/c of 1/1 and doubled it for an end price of 1.30 per package. Reg price is 3.99.

Does anyone know if Safeway has started putting out different ads for Washington and Oregon? Another blog, in WA, listed a really super deal for Tree Top Cranberry Juice, but there is no such coupon in the SE Portland ad. Thanks!
Denise says
Does anyone know if the Columbian has discontinued the $10 off $50 purchase coupon since it is now coming in the Red Plum? It wasn’t in the Columbian yesterday. (If so, I can no longer justify paying over $32/mo for delivery. For me, that’s how I rationalized paying so much.) And, it wasn’t on Just for U to load to my card.

Re Crest: I’m fairly sure the cpn in the 11-1 P&G expired last Saturday.
There is a $1 Crest cpn in the 11-29 P&G, so no doubler needed to get it for free (or a MM if you’re fortunate).
There are some coupons on the Colgate website (do a search for coupons, then click on the first link), but they don’t apply to the cheapo $1 pastes.

There is a $10 off $50 Savings Award on the back of the mailed redplum. Good 12/1 (today) through 12/8
Howard says
Good find. There’s also a gallon milk cpn on that page for $1.99.
In my mailer, it’s on the inside of the back cover.
PJ says
Thanks guys for the heads up on those coupons, I had to pull them out of my recycling bin this morning.
Jeanne says
Yes- thank you!!! Just pulled the coupons out of my recycling. 🙂

I am in Eugene and I know it is usually in the Register Guard. They also have free ads in the Emerald Valley Shopper delivered on Wednesday to some or we can find them at stands around town. Kind of a pain, but worth the $10. I’m not sure this week though, because I would have thought they would have put it on Just for U again. Can anybody in Eugene clarify is we have the coupon?
Jodi says
Don’t know if you got your answer elsewhere yet, but I can confirm that Eugene got the coupon in the RG Tuesday. I’m going to the RG this week to pick up another paper so I have two, since that ground beef stacked with the q is a killer deal.
Susan says
That’s my plan, too! Haven’t seen ground beef (especially the 93% lean) for $2.99 lb. in a long time.
