Most of these deals use a Safeway double coupon, which is available at Oregon & SW Washington (Wahkiakum, Cowlitz, Clark, Skamania & Klickitat Counties) Safeways only. You can double up to 4 manufacturer’s coupons per transaction, up to 50¢ each. The double coupon is found in the weekly ad at the bottom of the middle page and look’s like this:
Safeway stores are inconsistent from store to store with their double coupon policy. The following is taken directly from Safeway’s Just4U coupon policy on their website:

Can anyone tell me how to renew my Oregonian subscription?
I just thought I’d share that I stocked up on cereal until Sept. 2016 and as I used my $10/$50 off coupon today and it didn’t work (after coupons) I’m used to it working even after manufacturer coupons so I guess things have changed.

The $10/$50 worked fine for me. I do have the newer registers and it was scanned before mfg.

Did you use the paper $10 coupon or the one available online?
I heard of other people having issues with the e-coupon not coming off. I’m trying it tomorrow so we’ll just have to see how it works out!

Don’t forget that things like milk dont apply to the total. I’ve forgotten that before and realized i was only 50 cents below the amount. Add a few pieces of fruit and good to go.
General Mills has at least 3 different websites with coupons. In addition to bettycrocker, Pillsbury and boxtops4education have cpn pages. You have to register/login, and there’s usually a limit of one print. Just now I found a $.50/1 Progresso soup cpn on the boxtops site. Also saw $.75/1 Lucky Charms cpn on all 3 sites. Be aware that the sites usually interface and often don’t let you print the same cpn off of the 3 sites.
More Progresso coupons: 9-13 SS $.50 on 2; same cpn coming out in 10-4 SS. The soups are 98 cents and $1.28 in the buy 4 save $2 sale this week.
Its Thursday and there are no Betty Crocker coupons to match the above deals. 🙁
Caro, sometimes these come up a little later in the day. And sometimes certain coupons won’t show on the site if you’ve printed them before.
Does the mix and match sale work across the categories? I mean can I get two items of the $1.88 group and two items of the $0.98 group?
Yes, definitely. There are supposedly thousands of items in the buy 4 get $2 sale. Albertson’s has the same promotion and many of the items are the same as Safeway’s.
FYI, some of the Annies mac and cheese aren’t triggering the discount. For me the bunny pasta didn’t. If you can print extra coupons and your store will double you can get it free. Buy 4, use 4 .5/1 coupons and doubler = 4 free mac and cheese.
Oops, now that I print the coupon does say do not double. Oh well.
The Betty Crocker (i.e. General Mills) cpns are generally limited to one print per registered account holder. New ones appear every Thursday. Also, the $10/$50 monthly cpn is available on J4U today.
I believe the wish bone salad dressing would be .54 after m/c and double…..LOL. Thanks for the match ups!
The Wishbone sale price is $1.29, not $1.79. There’s a limit of 2.
I searched my 8-23 SS (Oregonian and the 2 I picked up in Fla) and found no Wishbone cpns. 🙁
