This is a good week at Safeway. There is a $10 off $50 J4U coupon that further lowers the price of any chicken or ground turkey you buy as part of that purchase. (The $2.50/lb with store coupon Jennie O 93% lean ground turkey is a good price, and even better as part of a $50 purchase with $10 off. The $1.99 chicken breast listed above is also a good price.)
The Bounce dryer sheets are $3.99 with one-time store coupon and there is another $2 manufacturer coupon, making a 120 count box only $1.99
Strawberries for $2.50 is a good price, especially as part of the $50 purchase.
Safeway Select frozen pizzas (our favorite frozen pizzas) are $2.99 with J4U coupon, limit 6.

If you use the Saving Star app. you may have loaded additional savings on the Annie’s Mac and Cheese and Progresso soups. There is a possibility of saving an additional .50 cents on the Annie’s Mac and cheese and $1 on 4 Progresso soups. Also use the ,50 cent on 2 soups coupon and doublr it for greater savings.
Howard says
SavingStar deals are, for the most part, the equivalent of mfr/paper cpns. Their stated policy on their website is that their deals are not to be combined with mfr cpns. But they also admit that, at least for now, they are not in a position to stop double-dipping.

can you elaborate on the free movie ticket thing? do you include anything in the subject line or provide name, address, etc or do they just email back the ticket?
Howard says
Go to movieticketreward dot com and click on FAQs for all the info. There’s a number of products listed. You can submit by text, email, upload, or snail mail 1 ticket for each $30 in qualifying purchases, up to 3 per submission. All purchases must be on same receipt. Max two submissions per person. Valid only at listed retailers.
Many P&G promos require a minimum purchase AFTER coupons, but I didn’t see that provision listed here.

The 10-30 RP Tidy Cats cpn is for the lightweight litter, which is expensive and not likely to be in the $5 sale. If it is, then it’s a really good deal.
Howard says
The litter on sale is the regular scoopable 20-lb Tidy Cats, and NOT the one on the $2 cpn, which is for lightweight litter.
Cheryl says
Howard- I have used the Lightweight coupons before for the regular litter, and it went thru just fine. Didn’t beep or anything. Seems it might work
Howard says
Thanks, nice to know, but I don’t play that game.
I had a good, quick trip this morning:
Open Nature Greek yogurt–free from J4U
Two Annie’s mac/cheese–$.25 each after cpn and doubler
Two small Pillsbury crescent rolls–$.25 each after $1/2 IP and doubler
One 8-oz Buddig lunchmeat–$1.24 after $.75 cpn and doubler.
Less another $.25 for employee discount(my daughter). Total $1.99.

Great job Howard!
