Most of these deals use a Safeway double coupon, which is available at Oregon & SW Washington (Wahkiakum, Cowlitz, Clark, Skamania & Klickitat Counties) Safeways only. You can double up to 4 manufacturer’s coupons per transaction, up to 50¢ each. The double coupon is found in the weekly ad at the bottom of the middle page and look’s like this:
Safeway stores are inconsistent from store to store with their double coupon policy. The following is taken directly from Safeway’s Just4U coupon policy on their website:

NO GOOD DEED GOES UNPUNISHED: I reported the Ortega deal on Wednesday, it was published here on Thursday, and when I got to Safeway Friday, there wasn’t a single jar of taco sauce left. But I got a raincheck.

Hi Laura, nice to hear from you again. The 9-13 RP contains both the rice and sugar cpns. I love that yellow saffron rice; I got 6 of them free a few months ago when they were $.99 at Safeway and there were $.50 cpns. Good stuff, thanks for the tip. MSG, GMO, bgH, what the heck, we’re all gonna die someday anyway.
