Most of these deals use a Safeway double coupon, which is available at Oregon & SW Washington (Wahkiakum, Cowlitz, Clark, Skamania & Klickitat Counties) Safeways only. You can double up to 4 manufacturer’s coupons per transaction, up to 50¢ each. The double coupon is found in the weekly ad at the bottom of the middle page and look’s like this:
Safeway stores are inconsistent from store to store with their double coupon policy. The following is taken directly from Safeway’s Just4U coupon policy on their website:

I did the jcp one and that combined with the $10/25 made it so I spent only $33 on $83 worth of clothes. Awesome deal. I still might buy the sephora even without the extra $10 just4u off, since 20% is still a steal (unless someone still wants to share ?)

Has anyone tried one of these offers yet? It almost sounds as if the J4U coupon is a duplicate of the ad coupon, meaning only one will be honored….
Annya – I just returned from Safeway, purchased a $50 JC Penney gift card and it took off $10 two times for a new total of $30. I had previously loaded the J4U $10 off to my card, but the other $10 was automatic deduction according to the signage at the store and appeared to potentially be only on select gift cards – hope that helps 🙂
